Well, welcome back, Dear Readers, to the 12-day event that will inspire you to go after the life of your dreams and smash your goals!
Today, Dear Readers, this blog is diving into the secret sauce of being successful: how to figure out what going all-in means to you.
Dear Readers, the JMS team is sure that you’ve heard some variant of the idea that going all-in is the only way to be successful. But if you never believed it or thought you were a superhero that can go after multiple goals at the same time, today’s publication is for you! Because no matter how successful you’ve been so far, this blog believes that with today’s nugget of wisdom, you can double your productivity without working longer hours and still have a balanced, meaningful life.
Now, let’s go back to the basics.
What does it mean to go all-in, Dear Readers? Your definition of going all-in probably includes some notion of commitment and focus, among a long list of your favored priorities. You’re probably thinking that going all-in means that you are pouring all your energies and focus toward achieving a single goal while removing all distractions, often at the detriment of your mental and physical wellbeing.
While the JMS team does not outright disagree with your definition, Dear Readers, it does not like it that much either! Indeed, one of the core beliefs of the boutique consultant firm JMStategy LLC (JMS) is that productivity is the key to having a purposeful life. Being productive is not only about being a busy bee, working yourself to a frenzy, and making money! In reality, Dear Readers, if you want your life to be meaningful, you have to align your actions as if they are steps on a continuum despite the many likely obstacles you will have to face.

In other words, Dear Readers, if your goal is to create a balanced life with a fulfilling career that goes hand in hand with a rich family life that gives you the flexibility to eat dinner and tuck your young children to bed every night, JMS believes that you should achieve that goal. By no means should you limit the definition of being productive to the amount of money one has in the bank! Is it worth it to be a millionaire, going through a nasty divorce, the third one no less, estranged from your children who resent all the hours you spent at your office working on swiftly climbing the corporate ladder at the expense of family time? Not at all, Dear Readers!
So, for today, your task is to self-assess all the different areas of your life that you want to change and improve.
That’s right, Dear Readers, grab your goalbook to write a full self-assessment of where you are today concerning the six goals you want to achieve in the first half of 2021. Remember to be honest and put it all on paper without filtering anything or even censoring your goals, Dear Readers! The more honest you are with yourself, the better!
This self-assessment is not to shame you, Dear Readers. It’s for you to evaluate how engaged you are to succeed and achieve your goals.
If you are not yet going all-in, you must reassess whether you are serious about the goals you have written on day one of this 12-day reset guide to a brand new you! If fear is what is holding you back, Dear Readers, remember that you are capable of amazing things and should believe that the power to change your life resides inside you and nobody else! But, if it’s a lack of interest that is holding you back, Dear Readers, then it’s high time to adjust your goals to your current priorities and preferences. You don’t have time to waste chasing objectives that are not important to you!
