Why should we celebrate the Fourth of July in 2021?
Well, Dear Readers, we must celebrate it because, without independence, there is no freedom. Yet, having the freedom to pursue happiness is a core value that reverberates through the fabric of our nation. And since the American heritage of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness is for all of us to enjoy, we should also do everything we can to honor the bedrock of our society!
After 15 months of interminable lockdowns, we are all more aware of the importance of liberty, aren’t we? Thus, celebrating America’s independence is an invitation to return to our roots. Thus, Dear Readers, this blog is doing its part to remind you of the essence of this holiday.
Congress so believed in the protection of unalienable Rights that it made sure to ratify the United States Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776. Furthermore, with the subsequent 27 Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, this Land of the Free ensures such a breath of specific protections of individual liberties and restrictions on the powers of government. Isn’t the U.S. Constitution remarkable?!! Where else can you live and enjoy such protections?
Therefore, we should cherish said unalienable Rights and never take them for granted again. They are the reason this land of ours is unlike any other country on the planet! Furthermore, the promise of such rights is so enticing that people around the globe would give everything to share in this incredible legacy. Simply put, let’s be grateful, and let’s celebrate America’s independence! Happy Fourth of July 2021 to you all, Dearest Readers!
