It’s Labor Day 2021! Dear Readers, can we take a moment to celebrate with gratitude that we are alive and lucky enough to have our loved ones still with us?
This blog is grateful for your unwavering support, Dear Readers!
The last 18 months have been very trying and absolutely exhausting. But we are still here! Therefore, there is much to celebrate with gratitude!
In case you feel that you have nothing to live for, this blog invites you to reflect on all that you have accomplished and survived so far this year, let alone since the beginning of the global pandemic. The JMS team understands that life has been challenging and that you, Dear Readers, must have stay awake many nights wondering how to move forward.
As the Delta variant lingers on, you might have concluded that you may never get back to pre-coronavirus “normal” life.
Thus, this blog is here with three keys to inspire you to keep going and aspire to live better even amid the incredible chaos that is the global pandemic.
ONE: Consider taking a mental break from the many shenanigans on social media and reconnect with nature.
Dear Readers, you’ve told us in your many emails that you are utterly exhausted from the constant COVID-19 coverage. Thus, the JMS team suggests getting offline and get out of the house. Even if you did not travel this weekend, take the time to reconnect with nature, even if you live in an urban city. Take a long walk, head to the park for a lovely picnic, or do a sunset open-air yoga sesh with friends. Whatever is your cup of tea, just do it as Nike tells us always!
TWO: Embracing solitude is the way to go.
JMS clients are always so surprised to realize how much they live at 100MPH are drowning their inner voices and dreams. So, Dear Readers, consider taking the time to do something for yourselves in complete silence today. Do you have a hobby that requires focus you have not indulged in for some time, such as painting or drawing? Can you bake or do some gardening? What can you do to feel joy and appreciation for your life? Do you know a better way to celebrate with gratitude this Labor Day 2021? Let us know below or by email at jms@branding24seven.com.
THREE: End your day with a good planning sesh.
Yes, Dear Readers, even on your day off, you want to take the time to plan for the week ahead. So many of you have let us know that you are more anxious now than you were at the beginning of the pandemic. How is that possible? Well, perhaps you may be feeling so overwhelmed that all you have the strength to do is to live day by day. But, how long are you planning to do that? Until the end of the pandemic, now that 53% of the nation is vaccinated? But what if another variant comes to upset our lives as we prepare for fall and the flu season? Are you going to let life happen to you? Or are you ready to fight for the life you want?
So, why not spend some time this evening with a 30-minute planning sesh to plan for your meals and workouts?
And even set an intention for the shortened 4-day week? By taking the time to clarify your intentions, Dear Readers, you achieve peace of mind and feel more in control of the direction you want your life to take.
And if you have experienced any setback this year or this summer, Dear Readers, let us know below, and this blog will curate content for you so that you can smash the remainder of 2021. And come back later this week as we roll out publications with actionable tips to help you walk into 2022 like a boss!
Until next time, Dear Readers, stay safe and take all the precautions you need to protect loved ones while keeping your spirits up.
The JMS team wishes you a fantastic holiday!
