The deadliest terrorist attacks on American soil changed our lives forever on September 11th, 2001.
We are still grieving the premature passing of loved ones nineteen years later.
As memories from that tragic day are invading your minds today, Dear Readers, this blog invites you to reclaim the spirit of unity we shared as we watched in horror the WTC twins collapse at 9:59 AM and 10:28 AM…. We refused to let the terrorists destroy our cherished and enviable American way of life.
Today, however, things are different as COVID-19 is still ravaging much of the nation. The global pandemic has battered our nation for six long months, putting us all in such a somber mood that today might push us over the edge. Consequently, Dear Readers, this blog is here to remind you that you are a lot stronger than you think.
So, Dear Readers, let’s stand tall on the shoulders of our forefathers, let us continue to go about the business of protecting the American values that course through our veins such as freedom, democracy, and equality… While we are far from being infallible, we are sincere in the pursuit of our ideals.
On this Patriot Day, the JMS team would like to remember the fearlessness of all souls lost on this day: those who were innocently traveling or going to work and those who courageously gave up their lives.
