The deadliest terrorist attacks on American soil changed our lives forever on September 11, 2001.
As a nation, we are still grieving the premature passing of loved ones twenty-one years later.
“Never forget” became a national rallying cry after the attacks of September 11, 2001.
We all remember where we were and what we were doing on that cloudless blue sky Tuesday morning September 11, 2001. And what about the chaos that erupted on sidewalks across the nation? There is no doubt, Dear Readers, that this tragedy changed us all forever. Phone lines were so busy that we couldn’t reach loved ones as we watched in horror the WTC Twins pour out smoke incessantly before their eventual collapse at 9:59 a.m. and 10:28 a.m. As the day went on, we realized that America what indeed under attack.
Between New York City, Pennsylvania, and Washington DC, nearly 3,000 people died prematurely at the hand of nineteen terrorists who hijacked four commercial airliners scheduled to travel from the northeast to California.
No, Dear Readers, we will indeed never forget!
On this Patriot Day, the JMS team remembers all souls lost on this day: those who were innocently traveling or going to work and those who courageously gave up their lives.
