Wow, it’s been twenty years since the deadliest terrorist attacks on American soil changed our lives forever on September 11th, 2001.
We are still grieving the premature passing of loved ones who were plane passengers, office workers, emergency personnel, and bystanders. This unimaginably heinous tragedy touched us all; we are all victims.
Dear Readers, as we remember or even relive the gruesome memories of that day, this blog invites you to reclaim the spirit of unity we all shared right after we witnessed the WTC twins collapsing at 9:59 AM and 10:28 AM, twenty years ago…. We refused to let the terrorists destroy our cherished and enviable American way of life.
Today though, this blog asks you what does “never forget” really means to you? The JMS team certainly hopes that it means that we stand stronger. This land of ours is truly exceptional, and we must not take it for granted. Standing tall on the shoulders of our forefathers, let us continue to go about the business of protecting the American values that course through our veins, such as freedom, democracy, and equality. While we are far from being infallible, we are sincere in the pursuit of our ideals.
The JMS team would like to remember all souls lost on this day twenty years ago: those who were innocently traveling or going to work and those who courageously gave up their lives.
Let us keep the promise to never forget. God bless America!
